Hello and welcome to my website where you can find info on my latest musical happenings and how you may join and be part of them yourself!
After having spent 2008-2014 living in Stockholm, Sweden and traveling extensively throughout Europe playing Old-time music, I’m happy to report that my first full year of living in the US again has been wonderfully productive! These days I’m splitting my time between hometown Morgantown WV, Pittsburgh and Washington DC.
I’m currently teaching private and group lessons through WVU’s community music programs on fiddle, banjo and guitar. I’ve also been picked up by the university’s record label, Mon Hills Records, and will be releasing a new solo album in March!
Last fall I was asked to join The Early Mays, a trio from Pittsburgh performing original songs in addition to Appalachian traditional music. Singing three-part harmonies with these amazing women makes my heart soar and I’m looking forward to the music we will develop together! Our plans are to enter the studio before year’s end so check for updates and more info here : www.theearlymays.com
I also feel very lucky to get to spend time in the DC area, contra dancing at Glen Echo and being asked to occasionally join the lovely duo of Brad and Ken Kolodner from Baltimore. In my spare time I contra dance and have recently taken up painting and cajun accordion!
Please take a look around my website, catch a show, and let me know if you would like to bring my kind of music to a stage, dance hall, or workshop classroom near you!
All the best,
